Who is Mahesh Dixit? 1993-batch IPS officer appointed new Intelligence Bureau chief, succeeds Tapan Kumar Deka
The Indian government has appointed Mahesh Dixit, Special Director of the Intelligence Bureau, as the new chief of the agency. His two-year term starts upon assuming the position, following approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
