West Bengal police to have same operational freedom as UP, Gujarat, says Dilip Ghosh
West Bengal Minister Dilip Ghosh said police in the state will now have the same freedom to act as forces in Gujarat, Maharashtra, UP, Bihar, Assam and Madhya Pradesh. He said there will be ‘zero tolerance for crime and criminals’ days after prime accused in Baruipur case was killed in an encounter.
