US to allow Venezuela to pay for Nicolás Maduro and his wife's defense in drug trafficking case
The US has agreed to ease sanctions on Venezuela, allowing Nicolás Maduro to pay his lawyer's fees, reversing a previous restriction that jeopardised his drug trafficking case. Maduro and his wife are currently in jail awaiting trial on criminal charges.
