US mortgage rates drop to lowest since 2022 at 5.99% — Here's how much refinancing Americans can get for their homes
The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate in the US dropped to 5.99% on Monday, and over a percentage lower than the 6.89% rate the same time last year. This is also the lowest it's been since 2022, as per the White House.
