More wheat farmers to seek MSP as prices drop on record output forecast
The MSP of ₹2,585 per quintal for the current rabi marketing season is higher than the average open-market price of ₹2,294.82 per quintal as on 7 March. The output is expected to rise to 120 million tonnes this year, surpassing the previous record.
