Maoists target Chhattisgarh BJP, kill 2 ex-sarpanchs
Maoists killed two former village chiefs in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, for refusing to quit the BJP. Their bodies were found Thursday, a day after their abductions, with warnings to other BJP members. Eleven BJP and three Congress workers have been murdered in the region since February. One victim's abduction was captured in a video plea by his daughter.
