Jalalabad in UP is now Parshurampuri as Yogi Adityanath's cabinet gives nod
The Uttar Pradesh cabinet has approved a proposal to rename Jalalabad in Shahjahanpur district as Parshurampuri. The move follows the Centre's approval last year and is rooted in the belief that the town is the birthplace of Lord Parshuram.
