Huawei advances in robotics with “MATEROBOT” trademark application

According to the Trademark Office of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, Huawei submitted a trademark application for “MATEROBOT” last month, and it is currently awaiting substantive examination. The trademark covers a broad range of products, including telepresence robots, chatbot software, user-programmable humanoid robots, smartphones, and AI-powered humanoid robots with communication and learning capabilities. It also includes robots for security monitoring, education, scientific research, and household tasks, according to the application.
