Got a traffic challan SMS? PIB warns of new scam that could empty your bank account
The Press Information Bureau (PIB) has warned people against a new cyber scam in which fraudsters send fake traffic challan messages via SMS and WhatsApp to trick users into clicking malicious links. The government has urged citizens to verify any pending challan only through the official portal.
