Food safety watchdog sniffs for spice adulteration
A range of spices, powdered and whole, are under the FSSAI lens, after a countrywide surveillance threw up quality concerns. Now, the regulator has ordered inspections and sample collections from the manufacturing premises. On the radar: Cumin, turmeric, cardamom, and a host of other kitchen spices.
