Flying in America just got costlier! Flyers without REAL ID must pay $45 to travel, says US agency
Starting February 1, TSA will charge $45 for travellers without REAL IDs to encourage compliance with federal standards. The fee covers 10 days of travel and is nonrefundable. Children under 18 are exempt from ID requirements, while 94% of travellers currently present valid IDs.
