Ethanol rice diversion probe widens amid ₹1,000-crore fraud allegations; 4 held
Four people have been arrested in Madhya Pradesh over the alleged diversion of subsidised FCI rice meant for ethanol production. The SIT has widened its probe to Maharashtra, suspecting an interstate racket involving rice mills, transporters and ethanol plant personnel.
