Delhi Master Plan 2047: Forty lakh new homes, land pooling and rental units proposed – all you need to know
The Delhi MPD 2047 plan estimates the housing demand for the period 2011-47 at nearly 40 lakh dwelling units, based on an average household size of 4.5 persons. In 2011 – the last year when the census was conducted – Delhi had 3.11 million houses.
