CDSCO flags indiscriminate use of painkillers and antibiotics
The Drugs Controller General of India advises that all non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and antibiotics must be sold and distributed only on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner or specialist.
