13 women convicted in Cambodia of acting as surrogates for foreign clients
Thirteen Filipino women were sentenced to four years in prison for human trafficking-related charges after being found guilty of acting as surrogates in Cambodia. Two years of their sentence were suspended. The women, who are currently in a police hospital, can appeal the verdict.
